Did your character willingly come to Iyashikei? If yes, why? Yes! Bee really does like doing good for people, even if, as the Queen of Gluttony, her version of a good time isn't entirely wholesome. But she likes when people are happy and enjoying themselves, so she'll do what she can to help!

There are seven rings of Hell, and each ring is ruled by one of the Seven Deadly Sins. With the exception of the fallen angel Lucifer (Pride), no one really knows where the Sins came from. It is rumored that Satan (Wrath) ruled in the endless dark since "long before the golden angel's fall." No one has said anything about the origin of the other five Sins, but they are considered Hellborn demons who all defer to Satan.

Beelzebub is called the Queen Bee of Gluttony and (obviously) rules the third ring: Gluttony.

Character's Personality: Questions:

1. Tell us about who your character is and what someone’s first impression would be upon meeting them. How would your character act once someone got to know them?

Beelzebub is popular and gregarious, always the life of the party. She'll strike up a conversation with practically anyone and is generally good natured and friendly. She has all the best sweets, eats, and assorted illicit party favors and is generous with them to everyone that attends the parties and get-togethers she throws. As the embodiment of the deadly sin of Gluttony, she's a bit of a lush — drinking to excess, over eating, plenty of sex, drugs, and rock and roll music. She's good-looking, fashionable, and flirty. She's always "on" — a perfect host.

What may or may not be obvious until you get to know her, Bee takes the safety of those at her parties (and therefore under her watch) very seriously. Excess does not equal harm. She monitors the energy of the attendees to make sure they're having a good time and aren't drinking (or otherwise partaking) with the intention of damaging themselves or others. If she sees anyone "in a bad way," she'll take steps to get them help. When Blitz started "getting wasted off his ass and causing problems on purpose," Bee sent his daughter Loona to check up on him and then take him home safely. While this was partially to maintain the peace at the party itself, she was also expressing concern for his welfare.

2. What is something unique and interesting about them, or what is a fun little tidbit that sets them apart from the crowd?
Bee is able to summon food and drink of endless varieties seemingly from nowhere, but she also has alcoholic beverages that she's created for her personal stash that she saves for special occasions, one of which is honey-based and is known in Hell as "the hardest shit there is."

Also, Bee is one of the few high ranking demons that not only tolerates but enjoys the company of the lowest ranking demons. Imps and Hellhounds are always in attendance at her parties. (Sometimes even Sinners, if the lyrics to the song "BUZZZN" are to be believed.) Since the hierarchy of Hell is usually rigidly enforced, this makes her high opinion of them special.

3. What does your character think their flaws are? What do they think their strengths are? What are their actual flaws and strengths?
While she tends not to focus too much on the negatives in general, Bee knows that she can have a temper sometimes when she thinks she's being insulted. She tries to restrain this because she doesn't like getting "spicy," especially in view of her party attendees. She apologizes to her boyfriend Vortex for losing her temper at Loona, looking genuinely apologetic for her outburst. Since she can feel the energy of people at her parties, she doesn't want to be the one causing distress for others. Luckily, Bee knows that one of her strengths is that caring and comforting vibe she normally gives off. If she can keep her calm and interact with as many party guests as possible, everyone tends to have a really good time. This is what she was made to do, and she's good at it.

She also recognizes that people may look at her superficially and see just a party girl, which is both a strength (people underestimate her) and a weakness (they might not take her seriously).

While she is observant and generally pretty honest with herself about herself, one thing she may not realize is how fickle she can appear to others. Her mood can change on a dime — from concerned to angry to apologetic to ready for dancing all in the span of a couple of minutes. While she's not completely unpredictable and much prefers to stay happy and welcoming and in the moment, the transition from one emotion to the next when something does happen can be jarring for those around her.

4. What is a common misconception other characters have about your character?
Although she is friendly and generally nice to everyone (except Mammon), Bee is also not a pushover. She's the embodiment of Gluttony and rules the Third Ring of Hell. She didn't get there by being weak, timid, or easily manipulated. Her magic is strong, and she's not afraid of a fight. She tolerates no malicious disrespect, able to transform into her full demon form to enforce this is necessary. (We see this reaction and transformation when Loona talks back to Bee, mocking her because "everyone likes you so much" when Bee was trying to convince the hellhound to check up on her dad.)

Despite her general outward appearance, Bee is one of the Seven Deadly Sins. She is a high ranking demon in charge of an offense that sends mortal souls to Hell. Part of that power is her likable nature. The temptation is more insidious coming from someone encouraging with a genuine smile on her face.
